We, the student body of Islamic University of Kenya, in fulfilling the national requirement according to the Universities’ act of 2012, revised 2016 and its subsequent amendments, that every university shall have a students’ association, do hereby establish this constitution in a desire to form an association that shall uphold and safeguard the rights of all students of the university.

The association shall strive to promote academic freedom and responsibility amongst students and create forums for the expression of student views and interests in a bid to ensure that high standards of education and ethical behavior are obtained and maintained. The leadership of the association shall conduct its affairs with transparency, accountability and effectiveness.
